Clearances required: This course will be intense and hazardous due to the nature of the training and scope of the course content. Students will be required to have a thorough understanding of muzzle discipline. This is not a course for beginning shooters, but for the armed professional. All law enforcement and military personnel are welcome, as well as certified security professionals with letters of reference from their local law enforcement agency.

Course Description:

  • The operator will manipulate their weapon and manage their ammunition from difficult positions in order to maintain fire superiority and 360º security. They will be briefed on basic vehicle dynamics theories, vehicle terminology and vehicle positioning. They will develop communications skills to work effectively as a team under certain situations.
  • The operator will engage threats from ambushes and rolling ambushes, both from the front and rear seats. They will engage threats from the interior of the vehicle both static and on the move. They will exit and enter their vehicle under fire. They will learn the different positions to deploy to in order to minimize their exposure to incoming rounds.
  • The operator will be briefed on equipment selection and implementation, tactics both defensive and offensive, rapid deployment, safety and operational considerations. They will then be placed in mock scenarios where the direct application of their skills, both dry and live fire will be employed.
  • The ultimate goal of this course is to familiarize and expose the operator to these dynamic situations, give them tools they can use to develop their own skills relative to their situations under similar conditions.

  • Rapid deployment, for both offensive and defensive situations
  • Individual & team development of weapons manipulations and ammunition management
  • Dry and live fire application of learned skills under static conditions
  • Dry and live fire application of learned skills under dynamic conditions

Who Should Attend?
While working in arduous and hazardous theaters, special operators will be required to perform their duties from a variety of assets. The most common asset will be a ground vehicle of some type. This course is designed to provide the operator with practical and realistic solutions to a broad range of hostile situations in a non-permissive environment. The skills, tactics and techniques are progressive and effective in providing a high degree of safety and security while working in and around these assets.
