Class Size: 12 maximum
SCG is holding a selection course for prospective security specialists who would like to work for SCG International Risk. Our prospective contractors are all highly trained and have served with many world class special operations units in the US and abroad. However, tactical and technical procedures differ from military unit to military unit.

SCG International Risk ensures that all our teams use the same playbook, can work well together and have the highest trust and confidence in each other’s abilities. The screening course also allows SCG to screen applicants to ensure that only those who meet our high standards are certified to serve on our PSD’s.

This course provides a comprehensive PSD/Force Protection training program to ensure that all candidates know and use the same technical operating procedures and techniques. Successful completion of the course provides certification of the candidate’s qualification as a SCG security operator and is a requirement for employment with SCG International Risk.

Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to apply for employment upon completion of the course and although there is no guarantee of an opening at that time, they will become qualified members of our PSD pool and can be offered team assignments as missions arise.

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Cost is $600.00 per student and food, lodging and transportation to and from Virginia Beach are the student’s responsibility.

THe course is rigorous and demanding and you can fail. Any candidate who fails to qualify at any point in the course will be dropped and sent home. The remaining tuition cost will be refunded at a pro-rated amount. This is a great opportunity to invest in becoming one of the best in the business.

EQUIPMENT LIST:

• Good quality handgun with four magazines and 500 rounds of ammunition.
• Good quality carbine rifle with four magazines and 500 rounds of ammunition, as well as a weapon-mounted white light with blue lens cover.
• Rain and cold-weather gear.
• Cover shirt (for concealing weapons, radios, etc.).
• Civilian clothing (if a military unit then also bring BDUs, Kevlar and helmet).
• If military unit only – bring individual radios for your unit.
• Soft body armor (if you don’t have, we can provide).
• Small flashlight of any type.
