SCG INTERNATIONAL HIRES MIKE RUSH AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Decorated Navy Seal to join security services company
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, Jan. 16, 2009 – SCG International, a U.S.-based global provider of fully integrated, domestic and international security services, today announced it has hired Mike Rush as director of business development. Rush will develop new training, logistics and operational business opportunities and will be based out of the company’s Virginia Beach headquarters.
Rush was previously unit chief at the Department of Homeland Security, working with national and state officials to establish and implement security programs to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure. Prior to that, Rush served as a senior operations planner for the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, which followed a distinguished and decorated 23-year career in Special Operations as a Navy SEAL. Prior to joining SCG International, Rush was a program manager at International Safety Networks and a vice president at Blackwater USA.

Rush will be responsible for working with existing and potential clients to develop products and services to meet their security services and training needs, and will oversee various operational and logistics functions as well.
