The Commandeering Component is a one-day course designed for individuals who may have to escape from hostile territory by quickly acquiring a vehicle. The training focuses on vehicle types and selection, improvising tools, overcoming security devices, and driving away. This component can be added to a course you are scheduled to attend or taken as a stand-alone course.
Course content includes:
- Vehicle selection
- Vehicle entry, steering lock defeat, starting engines (including diesel)
- Practical exercises in the above
- Total commandeering exercises under time restraints
